AFFORDABLE AND PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING (P.S.H.)

JAG Interiors, Inc. has been designing and furnishing Affordable and Permanent Supportive housing developments and units for almost two decades.

Affordable multi-family housing is not Public housing like we saw in the mid 1970’s. Today’s Affordable Housing is typically better in quality and design and often indistinguishable from market-rate housing. The general qualification requires that the household makes less than 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) to qualify.

Measure HHH funding was approved by voters in 2016 to create new housing and address the alarming rise in homelessness for the city’s growing unhoused population. Supportive housing provides not only a place for people to live, but also the services they need to maintain stability. These apartment communities are home to veterans, the formerly homeless, those living with mental illness and transitional-aged youth (children who have aged out of the foster care system).
