In a groundbreaking partnership aimed at addressing the pressing need for affordable housing in the Antelope Valley, Meta Housing Corporation and Western Community Housing have joined forces to unveil Juniper Grove, a pioneering community that promises to redefine the landscape of affordable living in Palmdale, California.
“Juniper Grove is a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in tackling societal challenges.”
— Jamie General, President, JAG Interiors, Inc.
Located at the southeast corner of Avenue R and Division Street, the 123,410-square-foot apartment complex offers 99 affordable units for residents who meet income requirements and two units set aside for property and maintenance managers. All 49 one-bedroom units are reserved for individuals who have previously experienced homelessness, or are facing mental health challenges. The remaining 24 two-bedroom and 25 three-bedroom units will be allocated for low-income families and individuals. Every unit features a private patio or balcony and a property management office is available on site.
“With a diverse array of living spaces, we’re not just building homes; we’re fostering belonging and opportunity.”
— Richard J. Loa, Palmdale Mayor Pro Tem
One of the defining features of Juniper Grove is its commitment to creating a vibrant community atmosphere. From the meticulously landscaped grounds to the communal spaces — thoughtfully designed by the JAG team — every aspect of the complex is geared towards promoting social interaction and neighborly bonds. Residents enjoy a range of amenities where they can forge friendships and build lasting memories, including a community center, fitness room, barbecues, a children’s playground and an enclosed dog park.
